Timeless Elegance

When a 12-year-old boy suffered injuries that left him unable to walk or communicate, his parents contacted Weaver about creating an accessible home addition.

We created a three-story addition with an accessible bath and physical therapy room on the first floor, a bedroom and sitting room on the second floor, and a renovated master bedroom suite on the third. An elevator and hoist system allow easy movement throughout all areas. The bedroom also features a sink and refrigerator for medical care.

Because of the boy’s sensitive health, we used an external ventilation system in addition to our usual measures to control dust.

The result is a stylish, accessible bedroom that any teenager would be excited to call home.
