Sandstone Farmhouse
Weaver was contacted for this job to complete a design build and renovations to an uninhabited farmhouse.
We started by removing an old rear addition and replaced it with a new addition. We installed all new mechanicals, finishes, exteriors and windows into the existing home. Keeping the home’s authenticity, we refinished the floors and the fireplace.
Upcycling was an important part of the build. We took materials that were available to us and used it in the build. The floors were reclaimed from old barns and the stone on the addition was all from the property. Design touches including the “toilet” and “cloak room” sign were found at local sales.
The project was completed and an old home had new life.
