Gentleman’s Farm Homestead | East Earl, PA

For years the buyer of this property dreamed of owning the land. When the property was finally his, he realized renovations had to occur to make his dream a reality. So, he called Weaver.

We started by attaching a garage and adding a second floor bathroom. We also upgraded the interior floors, replaced the windows and the remainder of the roof. For the owner to take advantage of the views, we built a rear patio and deck onto the home. The deck includes a kitchen and a fire pit.

Finally, we built a heated barn that was reminiscent of the original that sat on the property, and we completed a renovation of the Tobacco Shed.

Timeless Elegance | Devon, PA

When a 12-year-old boy suffered injuries that left him unable to walk or communicate, his parents contacted Weaver about creating an accessible home addition.

We created a three-story addition with an accessible bath and physical therapy room on the first floor, a bedroom and sitting room on the second floor, and a renovated master bedroom suite on the third. An elevator and hoist system allow easy movement throughout all areas. The bedroom also features a sink and refrigerator for medical care.

Because of the boy’s sensitive health, we used an external ventilation system in addition to our usual measures to control dust.

The result is a stylish, accessible bedroom that any teenager would be excited to call home.

Sandstone Farmhouse | Mohnton, PA

Weaver was contacted for this job to complete a design build and renovations to an uninhabited farmhouse.

We started by removing an old rear addition and replaced it with a new addition. We installed all new mechanicals, finishes, exteriors and windows into the existing home. Keeping the home’s authenticity, we refinished the floors and the fireplace.

Upcycling was an important part of the build. We took materials that were available to us and used it in the build. The floors were reclaimed from old barns and the stone on the addition was all from the property. Design touches including the “toilet” and “cloak room” sign were found at local sales.

The project was completed and an old home had new life.
