Melvin Weaver

Melvin Weaver began the Company in 1973, at the age of 23, building residential homes, agricultural and commercial buildings. In the beginning, Mel performed many of the trades, including concrete work, framing, siding, roofing, and interior finishes.

In 1979 Mel added two minority shareholders as the company continued to grow and separated into two separate divisions, residential and commercial. The Company was incorporated in 1986 and added a separate roofing and exterior division in 1988.

In 2007, Mel bought out his minority shareholders and entered in a new partnership with his two oldest sons, Ken and Randy. Today after more than 40 years the company continues to thrive, having been built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship, superior customer service and integrity that Mel instilled into the company and into his sons who lead the company today.

Although Melvin is not as active in the day-to-day operations, he still enjoys an active role as an advisor on the board of directors, and assisting in business development. He also currently serves on the board of advisors for YWAM Orlando and enjoys utilizing his construction knowledge to help them maintain and develop their 198 acre campus.

Ken was born into the construction industry. As a kid, he enjoyed helping out the crews on the jobsite with carrying lumber and sweeping floors. He continues to enjoy the opportunity to learn new life skills from the work that he does. What Ken loves the most in this industry is developing relationships and fulfilling needs.

Ken’s journey up through almost every position in the company has given him an understanding of what a good team feels like and the importance of every team member. It also taught him to work hard and to feel satisfied at the end of the day that he did his best.

Ken’s responsibility and passion is to oversee the direction of Weaver Companies, Inc. He coaches the managers of each department and sets the strategic direction for the company. He takes personal responsibility to ensure the company maintains its culture of customer service. Ken strives to offer the highest quality premium craftsmanship; guaranteed! “Doing things right, no matter what,” is what separates us from the competition. Our exceptional level of customer satisfaction is the result of our work ethic and giving 100 percent in all we do.

Ken considers his co-workers as being like family. He finds it a joy to lead highly motivated individuals who value each other and our clients. He loves seeing our team grow professionally, personally and enjoys hearing how they met a customer’s need.

In his spare time, Ken values spending time with his family. His interests outside of work include hunting, fishing, and golf.

Randy Weaver

Randy grew up around the family business and worked at the company over the summers doing everything from sweeping floors to pouring concrete. After graduating from High School he decided that he wanted to make a career in the construction industry and started to work for Weaver full time. He worked in almost every position starting out as a general laborer, to foreman, to service, to sales, management and now co-owner of the business. Through these experiences he learned the function and importance of every role and how it really takes a team to build a successful project and a successful company. He has now been involved with the company for over 20 years. Through involvement with his church, professional industry associations and peer groups like Vistage Randy continues to be committed to a life of learning and growing both personally and professionally.

Randy’s responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic direction to the Roofing Services team, corporate business development, and marketing. He is passionate about maintaining a company culture that is dedicated to exceptional customer service, premium craftsmanship and delivering on our promises every day.

Randy is married with 6 children and enjoys going to his children’s sports and dance events, the great outdoors, golf, and traveling.

Kevin Esh

Kevin is driven by detail, order, and new ideas that increase overall efficiency.  As Finance Manager, Kevin is responsible for directing and overseeing all portions of Weaver Companies’ accounting and finances.  He also enjoys creating relevant reports and information needed for the team’s success.  Additionally, Kevin oversees the estimating within the organization.

Kevin grew up in a family construction business and has always had an interest in building, having spent many summers as a laborer and carpenter.  Additionally, he has always had an intense interest in numbers, charts and cash flow.  Today, as Finance Manager for a construction company, he is able to use these two core interests simultaneously

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys traveling with his wife, being active in the outdoors; road bicycling and weekend backpacking trips.  He’s also actively involved with his church.

Matt Riehl

Matt started his career in the construction industry as an equipment salesman and his interest in occupational health and safety began when he started selling a line of construction safety equipment. Specializing in the fall protection needs of his clients, and spending many hours on job sites, he quickly began to take an interest in occupational health and safety law. This interest eventually grew into a consulting position which allowed him to gain experience in the many aspects of construction safety and insurance requirements.

As the Safety Director, Matt oversees the overall management of the Weaver Companies’ Health and Safety Program as well as the company’s insurance and liability needs. He enjoys the day to day challenges as well as the hands on needs associated with construction safety. Matt is an authorized outreach trainer and currently holds the Construction Health & Safety Technician certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his daughter, golfing, water skiing and flying airplanes.

Quinten Zwally

From ground-breaking to final settlement, Quinten manages the schedule for the entire project. Every project brings together many different skilled workers and, with that, many unique challenges. As a vital ingredient to keeping the project flowing smoothly, he coordinates regular job meetings with the owner, subcontractors, and architects.

Building has always been in his family’s blood. His grandfather was a fine furniture maker, and his father is a skilled cabinetry installer, so he carrying on a proud family tradition by working at Weaver.

With his family background and 15 years of hands-on field experience in construction, Quinten has a great understanding of the day-to-day needs on a job site. That understanding enables him to keep projects flowing smoothly and to deliver a positive experience for our customers.

When the workday is over, the family evening begins. He coaches Little League baseball and plays softball. Quinten enjoys hunting and fishing and family camping trips, and he serves in a leadership role at River of Life Ministries.

A philosophy that has always served him well is “Stay focused on the task at hand and always respectfully receive suggestions, praise, and criticism from others.”

Amos’ primary responsibility is to assure our customers that we complete their jobs on time and on budget, and that assignment covers a lot of people and a lot of materials. One major part of his job is to manage and schedule all of the sub-contractors who help us to get the jobs done. Amos also works closely with the property owners to make certain that we’re doing exactly what they want. His job is always interesting, and from his standpoint, no two projects are ever the same.

Amos really enjoys his job at Weaver because everyone understands the importance of working as a team so that our work delivers complete satisfaction to our customers. An important part of everything that we do here at Weavers is our dedication to serving our customers.

Amos started working in the construction field alongside his father, and he taught Amos to pay attention to the every detail of the project and to treat every customer with complete respect.

Away from work, Amos still enjoys construction, and doing projects around the house. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and attending the girls sporting events.

The aspect of his job that he loves the most is the meeting with different people on a daily basis. Jay also enjoys meeting and solving the client’s needs and wants in each of their projects.

Jay loves the family and Christ centered work environment and values each employee’s honest and high quality standards. He enjoys how Weavers strive to put the customer first and goes the extra mile to exceed the expectations of the customer.

In his spare time Jay enjoys spending time with my family, watching & playing a wide range of sports, coaching the church softball team and hunting.

Matt feels blessed to work for Weaver because of their commitment to staying true to their word, performing top quality work and for being a Faith Based company.

Life outside of work is filled by spending time with his wife & 7 children and fulfilling the role of pastor at his church. In his spare time, Matt enjoys woodworking & going to the mountains.

As a young boy Ron grew up on a farm where working hard & doing a good job was needed. He enjoyed doing construction at home, for friends and at church. Once he got married he got a job with a construction company, and has been working in the field ever since.

As a construction superintendent Ron spends his days coordinating and communicating with workers & the subcontractors. He appreciates his fellow coworkers and how the owners of Weaver take care of their employees.

In Ron’s time away from work his enjoys working around his home doing yard work & craft projects for his wife. He likes watching baseball, football, and basketball. Ron also spends a great deal of time involved at his church with a men’s group and going on mission trips.

Ryan’s responsibilities at Weaver include estimating, completing construction ready drawings and obtaining all necessary permits for residential and commercial projects. Ryan enjoys the challenges that each of his responsibilities entail. In estimating, the challenges include preparing accurate and clear estimates and proposals, learning new products and coming up with cost saving ideas. The challenges of drafting are very similar, preparing accurate and clear plans with solutions to design issues and cost savings. Permitting has challenges of its own, working to obtain permits in townships, boroughs and cities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware or where ever our next project takes us. Each township has its own unique set of requirements and Ryan enjoys the challenge of submitting the correct information the first time.

When Steve is not at Weaver, he is often on the sidelines watching his children play sports. Steve looks forward to family vacations, especially in warm places.

As part of the Roofing and Exteriors team, Chris is the Production manager which involves scheduling the crews, ordering materials and managing the daily work process. His years with the company consisted of working in new construction roofing to complete tear off jobs and also siding, windows and doors.

Main goals for Chris are to get jobs done safe, efficiently and having a happy and satisfied client at the end of the project. It is always a great experience to meet new people and be a part of their life for a short period of time or as long as the project may go.

Chris started at Weaver directly out of high school. What is the most important to him about working at Weaver’s is the professionalism, honesty and true hard work that is put forth on every project that is completed by the Weaver team.

When not working he enjoys being with his family, going to the mountains, hunting, riding 4 wheeler and watching Philadelphia sports!

Henry is the project manager of Excavation Services. Henry grew up on a farm & always enjoyed running equipment. As soon as he turned 18 Henry got a job running equipment; which makes him a great fit as he spends his days running the equipment he loves, as well as coordinating & communicating with workers & clients.

When he is not on a piece of equipment, Henry enjoys working on projects at home, camping & vacationing with his family. He also enjoys riding dirt bike with his son, and taking his daughters on dates. Henry is passionate about missions and working with youth.

As a Project Manager in Commercial, Linford is responsible for planning and organizing everything involved in turning an idea and a set of blueprints into a working commercial structure.

Linford strives to bring in every project on time and at or under budget. One of the great rewards is to reach those goals, and another is all the friendships and relationships that he develops during the course of the project.

Linford studied the construction trades at Vo-Tech School, and joined the Weaver team directly out of high school. He appreciates that Weaver’s is a faith-based company, and truly appreciates the opportunities that he has been given and the way they treat their customers and their employees.

When Linford is not working, he enjoys being active in sports like skiing and kayaking. For relaxation, he likes to watch sports, and he believes that a good rule to live by is: “Live life with passion – Love what you do, do what you love”.

Having worked in the construction industry since 1990, and being part of many different areas within the construction field has given Roger a great knowledge base of construction. Roger’s professional career started by doing architectural design & drafting. After years of drafting, he took on a new role working in the commercial construction field, gaining many valuable skills. Eventually, he was afforded the opportunity to expand his resume to include, commercial & residential estimating & project management.

Roger is part of our Construction Sales team, helping our residential clients navigate through the building process. This includes, design, budgeting, proposals, as well as helping our clients through the selections process.  We strive to give our clients all of the information that they need to make Weaver Companies, Inc. a present and future partner for all of their building projects.

Away from work, Roger loves to spend time with his wife and children, going to the mountains & the beach. He enjoys playing & watching many sports, coaching football, lacrosse, & soccer with his children. Doing “Home” remodel projects and helping friends and family with any projects that they may need help with is another past time for Roger. He enjoys being part of his church’s worship team and using the talents that God has given him, to glorify God.

In his spare time, Curvin volunteers his skills in construction for several different ministries. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, sports or anything to do with nature and the great outdoors.

He enjoys working through an entire project from commencement to completion, while interacting with many different people.

Outside of work Alyssa loves spending time with her husband and their families. She also enjoys being involved in her church’s youth ministry, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
